WeAreChange Switzerland Interview with the Swiss National Councillor who seeks to arrest Bush Jr.

Last month we have reported about our actions to seek the arrest of George W. Bush during his visit in Geneva. The Swiss National Councillor Dominique Bättig was the one who gave us the encouragement by writing a letter to the Swiss parliament and the head of the Justice Department, Swiss Federal Councillor Simonetta Sommaruga. We received a craven response to the alleged “unrealistic arrest” of George Bush [respondence from the Department of Justice (german)] and a further response from the Attorney General. [Re: Attorney General (french)]

We informed many major newspapers such as the Washington Post, Times of India, The Sun, Daily Mail, Russia Today, Al Jazeera, China Today and the corporate media of the german speaking countries, and sent them the letter from the Swiss Parliament and called for protests at his arrival.

After all, George Bushs invitation to participate in an annual gala fundraiser for the self-proclaimed Jewish charity ‘Keren Hayessod’ has been withdrawn because of the concern about the number of public calls to protest his visit. According to a correspondence with the official Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities (SIG) it’s now clear, however, that they distanced themselves from this Zionist organization. [Re: Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities]

Other copycats such as Amnesty International, the World Organisation Against Torture organizations and Mr. Wolfgang Kalek also called on the Swiss government to arrest Bush for war crimes such as torture via waterboarding. The main goal was reached as we took notice of the outcome in the mainstream press. Citical citizens have to take inidividual actions. We should not depend on large NGO’s and charities and make them responsible for fighting for our freedom, we have to do it by our own efforts.

There are good reasons why were therefore only these organizations are interviewed by the mainstream media. If each citizen would see how powerful his voice can be and how effective his actions really are, the change will come without a corporate identity like Amnesty International, WWF or Greenpace to name a few. We have to take action. Each and every one of us in his individual and unique way.

In addition to all actions of the federal inquiry, we launched the preparations for posters and flyers to spread them in the whole city of Geneva. We want to make sure that the people are confronted with the real facts about the war on terror and how they make profit out of this misery.

On 02/17/2011, we announced a visitation to interview the Attorney General Dr. Erwin Beyeler and give him a folder with the documents of the International Criminal Court Prosecution of the Bush Administration (George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleezza Rice) brought up by Francis A. Boyle. Unfortunately, Mr. Beyeler was not there to receive our documents and no secretary wanted to appear at the reception, they first threaten to call the police on us but we persisted that someone in charge has to approve the handover with an authorized signature.

We had a short correspondence with Francis A Boyle to let him know what we are doing and that support his work.

National Councillor Baettig gave us an interview about his actions in the Bush case and how he want’s to try that former leaders deserved no such immunity if they are prosecuted for war crimes. We want to dedicate this interview to every one who is supporting the truth and take actions to free ourselves and be the change that we want to see.
